For the past decade, Southeastern University (SEU) has been equipping students to discover and develop their divine design through Spirit-empowered life, learning and leadership. President Kent Ingle’s tenure from 2011 to the present has led to the advancement of curricular and co-curricular programs on the university’s campus, in addition to reinventing higher education through experiential learning.

As a Christ-centered university, SEU is committed to equipping students to discover and develop their divine design to serve Christ and the world around them. Each student’s divine design is nurtured and unleashed through the investment of faculty and staff, relationships within the community, the rigor of scholarship, diverse learning experiences and the discipline of spiritual formation.

Over the last ten years, due to the steady rise in enrollment, SEU has launched 57 new undergraduate programs, 19 new master’s programs and 4 doctoral programs. SEU has been recognized by The Chronicle of Higher Education as the sixth-fastest growing master’s level university in the U.S.

Whether it’s competing on the field or serving overseas, SEU strives to support students on their journey to discover their divine design. In efforts to do so, the university has expanded its co-curricular offerings and campus facilities over the past ten years.

In an effort to meet the changing landscape of higher education, in 2012, SEU opened our first extension site. The partner-site model was designed to provide students with a high-quality learning experience at an affordable price. Since then, our unrestricted education model has launched 175 sites in 40 states with an enrollment of 2,594 students.

During President Ingle’s tenure, SEU has experienced exponential growth in enrollment, academic programs, experiential learning and campus facilities. These areas have generated an increase in annual revenue, giving and institutional aid.
