Frequently Asked Questions

SEU Tech is the fully-online technology programs initiative of Southeastern University.

An SEU Tech Bootcamp is an accelerated, fully-online education program that teaches you the skills you need to become a software engineer, data scientist, or cybersecurity professional in a span of just a few months.

You will receive a Certificate of Completion upon graduation from any of our programs.

All SEU Tech Programs start every 3 weeks.

You can complete the Full Stack, Cybersecurity, or Data Science program in approximately 8 months (33 weeks). You can complete the Front End or Back End program in  approximately 3 months (12 weeks).

You should plan for at least 15 hours per week. As with most academic programs, the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

These programs are offered at a highly competitive price, and to make our program even more affordable, you have two payment options—paying in zero-interest, equal monthly installments, or prepaying and getting a discount. (However, traditional financial aid, such as scholarships, are not available.)

In this program, you are in control of which language/framework to learn. We suggest that you keep in mind the job market in the geographical area in which you want to work, the type of company you want to work for, and the type of solutions you will like to code.

Here are some search tips when checking online job boards, such as Indeed and LinkedIn:

  • Look for jobs in your cities of interest and see what the language/framework requirements are for jobs that interest you.
  • Search for job openings for the companies you want to target
  • Include historical searches for the last year as well as currently open positions.
  • Search for the keywords of the type of work you want to do

These parameters will give you an idea of the local and corporate technology stack and software development language demand, which will help you determine your possible career path and the language/framework you would like to focus on during your Full Stack Bootcamp.
