Email ace@seu.edu to request resources, a presentation, or workshops for your class(es).
Steelman Library also holds various resources that you may access.
SEU faculty or staff may refer students to ACE for tutoring, workshops, or other academic concerns. ACE encourages faculty to use the Early Alert system to report all academic concerns, including academic integrity issues, as this allows the university to assign the case to the appropriate interventionist and track case management.
Contact Glorie Rodriguez Figueroa Retention Coordinator, for any questions or additional information.
Early Alert is the university’s central processing system for identifying students in need of additional support and tracking applied interventions.
Follow the instructions below on how to submit an Early Alert report, and if you are concerned about a student, click here to submit the report.
Step 1: Log into jics.seu.edu
Use your SEU ID and if you have not changed your password already, the default password is the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
Step 2: Click on “Submit an Early Alert”
Once you are redirected, your name should appear in the gray box.
Step 3: Click “Submit Early Alert For”
Look for the student by first name, last name, or ID number. Click the green button next to their name to add. Multiple students can be added and submitted as a batch.
Step 4: Select the Relationship
Choose the role that best describes how you know or interact with the student(s).
Step 5: Select the Type of Concern
Only one type of concern can be selected per student/batch
Step 6: Select the Security Level
Use university withdraw deadlines, academic performance, and student engagement to determine the risk level for academic concerns.
Step 7: Provide Narrative Details
Please provide details regarding the concern and any interventions you have initiated.
Step 8: Provide a Student Interaction Report
Provide a response if you have been able to connect with the student about your concerns.
Step 9: Submit
You will receive an email message notifying you that your submission was successful.

You do not have to be a Southeastern University student to utilize our Testing Center. Contact the SEU Testing Center (testing@seu.edu) to schedule an appointment to take a CLEP exam. All SEU degree-seeking students must complete an eligibility form before an appointment can be scheduled. The form will be reviewed to determine if the degree-seeking student meets SEU guidelines for awarding CLEP credit. These guidelines are listed below. One form per CLEP exam must be completed.
