Here’s your step-by-step guide for a successful college application process. Click on any step for details.

Undergraduate students based on our main campus in Lakeland, Florida are also referred to as traditional students.

Early Decisions Come with Perks!

December 1

Priority Application Deadline

Complete your application at SEU.edu/apply by this date to be guaranteed a spot at SEU (if you’re accepted for admission and save your spot). Plus, you’ll have more opportunities for scholarships!

January 15

Priority Acceptance Deadline

Submit all of your application pieces and if you’re accepted by this date, you get the Priority Application perks PLUS an early financial aid offer letter and an entry to win a $1,000 SEU scholarship!

February 15

Scholarship Application Deadline

Many of our scholarships that have a separate application have a deadline of February 15, so be sure to visit SEU.edu/scholarships to get the details and submit those applications.

Priority Deposit Deadline

Submit your deposit by May 1 (National Decision Day) to qualify for perks like priority class registration, priority housing, and more opportunities for
financial aid.

1. Explore Degree Options

SEU offers more than 80 undergraduate degrees, so be sure to check them out!

2. Complete the Application

Our application is designed to guide you through the admission process step-by-step. Simply choose the type of program you’re interested in and follow the prompts.

You’ll be given a personalized application link when you’re done, so be sure to save it.

3. Submit Your Required Documents

Admission requirements vary for each program type. Review the details at the link below, and use your personalized application link to submit your documents so we can process your application.

4. Start the Financial Aid Process

While your application is being processed, be sure to begin the steps necessary to secure financial aid (if you haven’t already).

Note: While you may begin applying to SEU during your junior year of high school, you must wait until October 1 of your senior year to submit your FAFSA. Learn more here.

5. Save Your Spot & Get Ready

If you’re accepted, follow the steps in your acceptance email to save your spot and register for your classes. Check out these additional steps below to start preparing for your arrival. Welcome to the Fire Family!

To reserve your spot at Southeastern University, use the personalized link you received when you were accepted to select your housing preference and submit your deposit. (Lost your link? No worries! Contact your enrollment counselor.) 

The sooner you complete the financial aid process, the better, so don’t wait!

We’ll email your SEU ID number to you once you save your spot. Use it to set up your access to SEU’s campus systems and your new SEU email account. Get additional help here.
(Pro tip: Check your SEU email often!)

Housing applications are required for all traditional, undergraduate students whether or not you are living on campus. Get the application details, as well as meal plan and parking information, here.
