Dr. Poole combines extensive academic training, professional research experience, and long-standing pastoral leadership to equip students for global mission work. She earned her Doctor of Ministry (D.Miss.) at Biola University, completing advanced coursework in quantitative and qualitative research methods, research design, data analysis, ethics, and scholarly presentation. Her dissertation employed phenomenological qualitative research to explore student-faculty interaction and Christian relational spiritual formation at Pacific Northwest Christian University.
For the past five years, Dr.Poole has applied her research and theological expertise through OneHope, contributing to missional thought leadership and serving thousands of churches and volunteers worldwide. Her work includes designing courses for SEU’s Global Ministry Design and International Family Ministry programs, leading a national study on gospel city movements in the U.S., and developing innovative resources such as The Bible App for Kids, a Youth Catechism for North American teens, and the “What if it’s True?” platform for Middle Eastern youth.
Dr. Poole also brings over 15 years of pastoral experience as a senior leader at Calvary Corvallis, where she directed the Cornerstone School of Ministry, taught theology, hermeneutics, spiritual formation, missions, and ministry practicums, and oversaw campus and international student ministries. Her combined academic, professional, and church-based experience equips her to mentor students and foster practical, innovative engagement in global missions.
