Dr. Campbell joined the Southeastern University faculty in 2017. She has spent her career in education, starting as a middle school teacher in Orlando. Dr. Campbell has been at the university level since 1996, working as an instructor and university supervisor at the University of South Florida, Saint Leo University, and Florida State University. Her passion is in teacher training, particularly helping student teachers develop effective classroom management strategies. She has supervised over 400 student teachers at all grade levels and in all subject areas.
Dr. Campbell teaches a variety of COE undergraduate courses and is the Compliance Coordinator and Florida Department of Education liaison. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and is currently the the West Regional Director of Colleges and Universities for the Florida Association of Teacher Educators.
Dr. Campbell has been on 18 construction-based mission trips to West Virginia through her church and was the team’s leader for many years. She also serves on the board of her church's pre-school. She has been married since 1992 and has two grown sons, a lovely daughter-in-law, and a scared-of-everything dog named Annie.
