Dr. Kenneth Stephens is a Retired U.S. Army First Sergeant. He served 20 honorable years. After retiring from the military, he worked as an Aviation Safety Officer for the Department of Defense in El Paso Texas. He is currently the Program Director of the Graduate and Undergraduate Human Services programs and the Director of SEU’s Aviation Program at Southeastern University where he has served for over seventeen years.
Upon his return to Florida, Dr. Stephens worked for the Florida Division of Emergency Management as an area coordinator in disaster response. He was responsible for providing State first responder disaster support to nine surrounding counties in the Central Florida area.
Dr. Stephens is an Associate Pastor at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he also serves as the mission’s pastor. His mission trips include Uganda, Haiti, The British Virgin Island, and El Salvador. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated where he serves as the local chapter’s Chaplain. He is married to Esylen Stephens and they have four adult children.
