Bio

During Dr. Melanie Bergeron's time here at Southeastern University, she has been an assistant professor teaching many courses across both the BSW and MSW programs. This has been such an amazing opportunity to develop relationships with student and to share in their successes.

As a professor, she continues to evaluate and revise courses and assignments to ensure students are engaged in the classroom. Now as the MSW field director, she is ensuring students are meeting the CSWE standards in their field placements and vetting agencies to ensure these agencies are able to provide students with the opportunity to meet these competencies.

Dr. Bergeron has made many new community partnerships to help open opportunities for students to gain experience in areas they are passionate about. She looks forward to working with the next cohort of students and continuing to collaborate with faculty to ensure student success.
