Dr. Bob Hinds

Bio

Dr. Bob Hinds has spent 43 years in healthcare leadership roles (behavioral health), the last 30 of which were senior leadership roles (executive director of two 86 bed facilities, and a corporate director position overseeing treatment strategies in multiple sites).

Dr. Hinds earned his doctorate in business administration fairly late in his career, and immediately began teaching healthcare management courses at the University of North Alabama.

Although he is an Alabama native; he and his wife moved to Lakeland in 2017 to be near family, and shortly thereafter, he joined the faculty at SEU, to assist in the development and teaching of the healthcare management concentration in SEU's Master of Business Administration program. He loves the students, his colleagues, and the emphasis on seeing career through the lens of your Christian faith.

Dr. Hinds and his wife Sonja live nearby, with their three annoying dogs. When he is not working, he can usually be found with a guitar in his hands.
