Timonthy Wheaton is an educator within the College of Natural and Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. He is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 16 years of experience in multiple areas of Nursing. He has worked as a Critical Care Nurse, Operating Room Nurse, Mental Health Nurse Manager, and Educator. He is an alumnus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He is currently completing his dual Masters of Science in Nursing-ed and Master of Divinity-Pastoral Counseling.
Additionally, he is also certified as a Christian Counselor and Mental Health Coach with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), as well as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing under the Nu Upsilon Chapter. He has a passion for educating and investing in the development of future nurses.
He is a proud follower of Jesus Christ and member of the Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church. He longs to reflect the love of Christ in all his encounters. He is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and currently resides in Lakeland, Florida with his wife of 20 years whom he met in high school. They have three adult children, two of whom are currently attending Southeastern University.
