Located in Smith Hall, SEU Health Services provides comprehensive, professional medical care through our partnership with the largest health system in Polk County, Lakeland Regional Health.
Services include sick visits, physicals, certain point-of-care lab services, and more. Plus, our wellness programs will help you learn to manage your health and develop healthy habits.

Megan Hudson, DMSc, PA-C
Dr. Megan Hudson, PA-C, is the director of Health Services at Southeastern University. Hudson started serving in this role in August of 2020. Previously, she served as an assistant professor in the College of Natural & Health Services at SEU for five years.
Dr. Hudson is a nationally-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), practicing at Lakeland Regional Health. She has worked in family medicine since 2011. As the director of Health Services, Hudson serves students at SEU by creating environments for comprehensive and unrestricted access to physical and mental health services.
Outside of SEU, Hudson has served as a part of the disaster response team (DART) through Samaritan’s Purse. She also encourages students to explore opportunities and careers in global health and medicine. Her heart for global health is integrated into opportunities within Health Services for medical missions.
Hudson holds a bachelor’s degree in pre-med/biology from Southeastern University, a master’s in medical sciences from Barry University, and a doctorate in medical science from the University of Lynchburg. She has published on the benefits of bariatric surgery and works closely with the National Eating Disorder Association to utilize motivational interviewing and resources for students on campus.
