Bio

Professor Cody Tessler returned to his alma mater, Southeastern University, where he found his calling to teaching and discovered the beauty of mathematics. He graduated at the top of his class and received the Southeastern University award for his academic achievements and leadership roles.

Professor Tessler believes that, as Christians, God calls us to a higher standard. He implements this philosophy in the classroom by encouraging his students to maximize their potential through hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

Professor Tessler has a wide variety of teaching experience. He has worked with middle and high school students in various settings. While an undergraduate student, he tutored mathematics, earth science, and music for the Academic Center for Enrichment at Southeastern University. He also was a teaching assistant for the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Florida, assisting students in College Algebra, Precalculus, Business Calculus, and Finite Math. During his graduate studies, Professor Tessler focused on topology and abstract algebra.

Professor Tessler teaches all courses in the developmental and general education curriculum, along with several advanced mathematics courses.
