Cody Tessler returns to his alma mater, Southeastern University, where he studied mathematics education. He received the Southeastern Award and the Most Outstanding in Major Award. Professor Tessler attended the University of South Florida, where he earned a Master’s in Mathematics while completing research on the classification of 𝑓-quandles. Additionally, he completed his Master's in Computer Science with a concentration in computing systems through the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2020 to 2022.
As an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Southeastern University, Cody Tessler bridges the gap between technology and education. His teaching portfolio spans a range of subjects, including mathematics, computer science, web development, cybersecurity, and data science. Beyond teaching, Professor Tessler advises students studying mathematics, actuarial science, mathematics education, and computer science, encouraging them to strive for excellence in line with faith-rooted philosophy.
Professor Tessler also serves as the Coordinator for SEU Tech, demonstrating his commitment to the transformative power of technology in academia. In this role, he has played a vital part in launching technology programs that meet emerging industry demands and has shaped the university's academic offerings by integrating technology curricula.
