Scholarship Deadline

Southeastern University is offering exceptional high school student leaders, who are part of the Assemblies of God, the chance to earn a $1,000 scholarship. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15, 2024

After February 15, the submitted applications and essays will be sent to each district youth director, who will select up to four students within his or her district to receive this scholarship. Selected students will then be eligible for the scholarship, which is prorated over eight consecutive semesters, once they have been accepted to and enrolled at Southeastern for fall 2024.

To be considered for this scholarship, students must complete the SEU admission process and be accepted by February 15 in addition to the requirements below. If you have not yet started the admission process, please start here.

Essay Requirement

In order to be considered for the DYD Leadership Scholarship, each applicant must submit an essay with this application. If you have any trouble uploading your documents, please contact SEU at 800.500.8760.

Essay topic: Explain why you should be considered for the DYD Leadership Scholarship. Include in your response how you have demonstrated your leadership abilities through involvement in your Assemblies of God district and other organizations.
Length: Essay must be one page, typed and double-spaced.
